Jesus gathered a group of guys some 2,000 years ago and told them to follow Him. Then He commissioned them to make disciples or followers for Him in all the nations of the world! Here at The Lite Disciple Podcast, we will learn how to be Jesus' ancient disciples in a modern world.
"What must I do to be saved?"
According to the Old Testament prophet Joel in Joel 2:21, and as written by the apostle Paul in Romans 10:9-13:
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile —the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
The Son of God has risen! The light of Jesus is breaking through the darkness of the world, and He is revealing all who are His. If you are ready to begin your new life in Him, free from shame and condemnation, call on His name right now and you will be saved!

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month.
And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and His servants will serve Him.
They will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
Revelation 22:1-5
Jesus, the lamb of God who came to take away the sins of the world, will return to restore Eden! His desire is that you and I would dwell with Him in paradise for all eternity, as God the Father intended for us to before the creation of the world.
Jesus came from heaven to earth with a simple request for humanity: “Follow Me.” He promised in His Word to those who believe in Him, that if we come to Him, He will give us rest. Jesus wants us to take His yoke upon us, and for us to learn from Him.
